It’s a well known fact in our office that we’re all a little bit in love with Mailchimp. They’re just such dudes. They’re the kind of company that Kong is aiming to be; open-minded, encouraging and creative down to their bones.

We came across their blog a few weeks ago and it turned our creative crush into full-fledged infatuation. What started as a resource for social imagery turned into a home for their annual reports and process documentation, as well just a load of cool stuff (Here's how it started). These guys ooze innovation and fun; they’re “do-ers”. Most of their stuff looks like it’s just for shiz and giggles, which can often seem like a pipedream amongst a constant flow of projects. How cool to make fun not only useful, but a priority.

I see so many of these same quirky traits, all of which are very desirable in a meaningful work relationship, here at Kong. It is a joy to call “work”. Yet, seeing as we’re a startup, we’re always hunting for things that teach us how to define our own company, as well as fire our motivation up, and frankly, blissfully scrolling through the work of these “do-ers” floats my boat.
